Pattern Shop Technician

 

Principle Accountabilities:

PATTERN SHOP TECHNICIAN – Cullman Casting Corporation (CCC) is a gray iron foundry, located in Cullman, Alabama with an open position for an experienced Pattern Shop Technician. Successful candidates will be able to build, repair, and maintain patterns and core boxes used to produce sand molds and core materials. They must have the ability to follow drawing specifications to ensure that patterns and core boxes are configured properly. Other duties are to establish shrinkage ratios to ensure finished castings are within prescribed tolerance levels; fabricate complete patterns and core boxes; modify existing patterns and core boxes; produce all joints, matches, and finishes at a professional level. Knowledge and experience with being able to read and understand blueprints is a must.
